Truly excellent, authentic and fresh food prepared for each client. A quiet, intimate and hospitable destination, the culinary experience is far beyond the fixed price for lunch that is charged. We had the soup Tom Ka Kai, Saté and chicken spring rolls as entreé, the John Dory and Chicken breast with basil as plat principal, and devoured all. There is a knowledge of Asian cuisine here not found (so far by us) in the Algarve and we beg the owners to consider doing something closer to Tavira! The soup in particular hits all the taste notes you would know in Bangkok, arguably helped by the fact they grow a lot of their own herbs and fruit. Ideal for all party groups, whether couples of all ages, groups of friends and family reunions. A sole diner was also here and clearly a return client while we ate. The staff speak English and French as effortlessly as their native...
Read moreI normally don’t leave 1 star unless either the food or service was terrible. In this case it was the food. I was so excited for Thai tonight and am left utterly shocked at how bad this food was. Pad Thai and Tom yum Kung are 2 staples in any Thai restaurant. And they both were NOT good. Was there ketchup in my Tom yum kung? Bc it tasted like creamy ketchup soup. The best part of my dinner were the free prawn chips and the mango sticky rice which was good but guys, DUH sauce on the side or the rice gets soggy! Do yourself a favor and GOOGLE some recipes seriously. It’s easy to make some changes to make the food at least resemble what it’s suppose to taste like. You can do better esp with a price tag of 60€ for 2 noodle dishes, a soup, spring rolls, and mango sticky rice. Btw pad see Ewe takes flat noodles... not the same noodles as my pad Thai. Google is...
Read moreI don't know anything about Thai food, so I don't have a point of comparison. I took Panang Curry with Chicken and wine. I didn't eat dessert, but they had some kind of ice cream in their coconut shell, they had sorbet, and of course ice cream in a glass. My wife ordered Green Curry with chicken, which was very spicy. I sat on the terrace, but they had heating. We had a nice evening. prices are somewhere in the middle, for me at least. it is the place where I do not go every night, but only to anniversary events. Anyway, I recommend this place. The restaurant menus have no images, only a description. That's the only negative I noticed. Happy Birthday!!! And a lot...
