Pretty place, looks new, food is ok. I got the fresh fish which was giod but the food for the rest of my group was lacking. When we arrived there were only a couple of people and the sat us right away. Waiter was super nice at first then We waited over an hour for our food. No one came by to speak to us that entire time and we could not get anyone's attention. When the food did come out they forgot one person's meal and they had to wait longer. Best steak in Azores thus far. House steak normally “fried” but they grilled it instead on request. Our other meal was the codfish and octopus that were also excellent. They also have a buffet that is likely pretty good if you arrive just when they open before food is on the steam table for any length of time. Servers worked quickly with 3/4 full dining room. Friendly and helpful. No view but high ceiling and large windows give it a light and airy atmosphere....

Very very friendly staff. Food always good. Only wish they could get a better Ceasar Salad recipe as we miss a good Ceasar. Buffet is best quality in the area. Dislike coming in warmer season as quite warm and humid in restaurant. We are locals so we just come during cooler months.
