We were 3 girlfriends visiting PICO for 3 days end of June 2022. We ate here twice and would have gone back if we were there longer. First was dinner of grilled squid and boiled potatoes - excellent!, tender and juicy. Our dinner with wine (bottle) was under 20 euros each. Huge portions. Next day we had the buffet brunch (12 euros pp). Tried a bit of everything (you won't be disappointed). Best regional cooking, friendly staff. Our waiter remembered us (short fella, well no one is really tall in Portugal, I felt right at home!) and even remembered the wine we had previously ordered. Lots of locals eat here so that's a great sign. At brunch they brought out a fish dish and the waiter came right over and suggested that I try it, Again, another winner. Food is perfectly seasoned.
