daTerra Norteshopping — Restaurant in Matosinhos

We visited this vegetarian restaurant for lunch, and the experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. 🥗🍽️🌿

Located in the food court of Norteshopping Center, this place truly surprised us — in the best way possible.

The decoration, atmosphere, and cleanliness were all excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, energetic, and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience even better. 😊👏✨

Although I’m not a vegetarian, I thoroughly enjoyed every dish we tried. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and so satisfying that I couldn’t resist going back for a second helping — even though I was already full! 😄🍛

One of the best parts? The prices. For example, you can enjoy unlimited soup of the day for just €10 — an amazing deal. 💶🥣 They also offer different dishes each day, so there’s always something new to try. Everything we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. I can honestly say that everything was perfect — from the food to the atmosphere to the people. We were pleasantly surprised to find purely vegetarian restaurant in Porto. The options at the buffet was varied, good flavours and so yummy. None of the fake meat nonsense that other vegan/vegetarian restaurants do... here is it pure food that should taste like plant based. This is something we enjoy.

The service was efficient too however first staff couldnt speak English, she transferred me to Nayara and she could communicate in English which I thought was super helpful. I understand Portuguese is the language, however since we were tourists, our knowledge of the language was limited to few Portuguese pleasantries.

Um conselho: atender um cliente de cada vez. Costumo ir a vários restaurantes daTerra, inclusive a este. Esta ultima vez, foi uma má experiência a nível do atendimento. Jantei e depois decidi ir comprar uma sobremesa para ir embora. Vi o que pretendia na vitrine, e coloquei-me na fila para pedir, para levar, e aguardei a minha vez, tinha um senhor a ver a vitrine depois de mim e comentou "a minha mulher ja pediu aqui" e eu pensei que ele ja tinha o pedido feito para depois ir recolher, mas nao. Estava na minha vez, e a funcionária, simplesmente achou bem atender o senhor primeiro e ao mesmo tempo a mim, para mim foi uma falta de respeito por parte da funcionária e do cliente, que os bons modos nao deve conhecer. Um simples pedido de levar uma fatia de uma sobremesa, e o outro cliente com 3 coisas no mesmo pedido, quando a outra funcionária (que esta sim, é muito profissional e simpatica) estava a colocar os bolos num prato para comer no local, eu referi novamente que era para levar e a outra a me dar uma lição de bons costumes que deveria de dizer que era para levar. QUANDO FIZ O PEDIDO, EU PEDI PARA LEVAR!!!!! Lamento mas não posso dar uma boa pontuação com estas atitudes pouco profissionais, em que simplesmente era colocar um bolo dentro de uma embalagem, pagar e ir embora, mas nao, atender 2 clientes ao mesmo tempo, quando eu ESTAVA PRIMEIRO!!! Nao foi justificativo sermos atendidos ao mesmo tempo, sendo que nao havia mais ninguém a ser atendido.. Eu nao escrevi no livro de reclamações, nem fui mal educada naquele momento, porque poderia ser muito indelicada, e preferi remeter-me ao silêncio. Não irei frequentar muitas vezes este restaurante, prefiro o de matosinhos que pelo menos não faz tudo ao mesmo tempo, não deixando o cliente...
