âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ 4/5 â Great Atmosphere, Excellent Service, but Steaks Couldâve Been Hotter
Itâs honestly surprising how different U.S. mall food courts are from those in Portugal â and North Shopping proves that point beautifully. The variety and quality of food options here are fantastic, and it really makes you wonder why American malls canât follow this model of offering fresh, flavorful, and genuinely well-prepared meals.
Being Portuguese, I decided to try something a little American and brought my two cousins to Steak and Beer. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was wonderful â warm, attentive, and fast. We all ordered the T-bone steak, which was beautifully presented and generously portioned. The flavor was excellent and the meat itself was high quality.
That said, my steak arrived a bit cold, and though it was tender closer to the bone, the outer edges were slightly tough to cut through. I ordered mine medium-rare, while my cousins had medium-well, and we all agreed the flavor was spot-on â just wouldâve been perfect if served piping hot and a touch more evenly cooked.

Everything was absolutely delicious and delightful, the atmosphere is really pleasant and the service by Jair and Mary was absolutely fantastic. Top notch in every aspect from the food to the attention given to us by those two wonderful professionals. The price is on the higher side, but with the quality that we enjoyed overall, it's hard to feel like we didn't get our money's worth....
