NorteShopping — Local services in Matosinhos

Hello, I had an appointment today at the dentist clinic in NorteShopping at 9 AM and the mall opens at 10:00 AM. The security guard did not speak english and the supervisor tried to explain to me to use the other entrance to the mall for the appointment. After circling 2 times the mall to find the entrance (which was explained to me that was supposed to be via a parking entrance, out of the several that exist in the mall) and trying 2 parking place and climbing stairs to find all doors closed, i needed to postpone my appointment for a later date. The shopping mall is not Fort Knox so they could have allowed me to go to the dentist appointment, or lead me there themselves or at least come to me to the other entrance, as there is no sign whatsoever to point to the other entrance. The level of services and the customer focus is inexistent, not to mention the fact that the minimum that they could have done was to be able to walk me to the other entrance, like a human being. Very bad experience, inexistent level of service and poor regard of the other human...

NorteShopping is a large shopping centre that you can easily reach from the centre of Porto via the Metro and is the largest shopping centre in Northern Porto.

I visited here in the run-up to Christmas in 2024, and the mall looked pretty with decorations for the festive season, adding a nice feel to a mall that is already modern.

The shopping centre has many stores, including large brands I was familiar with as a tourist — including Adidas, Continente (grocery store), H&M, JD Sports, Nespresso and Pull&Bear. It does mainly include many local brands for Portugal. There were also the regular fast-food names for dining, including McDonald’s, Burger King and KFC, but I would have liked to see more options outside of fast food.

The mall was easy to navigate and find what I was looking for, and the late-night opening up until 11 pm for many stores is ideal.

I found this mall really useful to get essentials during my time in Porto and would return if I am in the area...

Fantastic Shopping & Dining Experience!**

I recently visited Norte Shopping Mall in Bicas, Porto, and I was thoroughly impressed! The mall is clean, modern, and well-organized, with a great variety of stores catering to all tastes—from fashion and electronics to home goods and more.

The dining options were excellent, with a mix of local and international cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the food court, which had plenty of seating and a lively atmosphere. The staff at the stores and restaurants were friendly and helpful, making the experience even better.

Parking was convenient, and the mall’s location is easily accessible. Whether you're shopping, dining, or just looking for a place to relax, Norte Shopping Mall has something for everyone. I’ll definitely be back!
