Don’t be fold into thinking this is a little coffee shop - this place is a locals gathering to eat plates of pork, steak, chicken, and more. My pork steak was full of flavor and accompanied by thinly sliced fried potatoes and zesty greens. I started with olives and bread, had two glasses of wine, and was out the door for 17.50e. I was there by myself, a single female, in a room, full of pretty much men and only men, and I felt like I landed in a very local scene. I stopped in Luso simply because I hadn’t eaten yet and I’d detoured to the forest on my way north. I ended up eating here, and my sandwich was outstanding. Proprietor and family were eating and socializing at a nearby table and most other tables had locals at them. Service was friendly and responsive and gave me directions to an upcoming event of interest to me.

Excelente local, para se passar um momento agradável, quer seja a tomar café, almoçar, etc. Ponto negativo: numa altura em que a restauração finalmente conseguiu abrir as portas aos seus clientes e após ter estado vários e vários meses com altos e baixos (abrem portas, fecham portas, servem ao postigo, não servem sequer ao postigo) encerrados até ordens da DGS; num fim de semana com ponte e um feriado 05 de Outubro, a Bella Luy, encerra para férias (04/10 a 10 ou 11/10), e encerram ao domingo. Fiquei surpresa!!! Mas é a minha opinião, e deixa-me a pensar várias coisas... infelizmente. Por causa deste detalhe, não tive oportunidade de provar os gelados, que dizem ser famosos e fazer uma ou outra refeição, durante a minha estadia. Por isto tudo e não é pouco, só...
