Was recommended this restaurant by our tour guide. They kept this little assortment of bread and accompaniments on the table and charged us 20 euros for that! The sea food rice which had around 3 tiny crayfish and 8 to ten med size shrimp with some oysters and of course rice was 55 euro. It was a lot of rice which we ate about half of and then asked them to pack the rest. Waited a bit and then saw they took the pot into the serving area refilled it and served it to another customer!!!! When I asked them what happened to my left over food the waiters suddenly could not speak English and finally said it was accidentally thrown away. Very lousy service as it took one hour for the food to be served and very dishonest tourist trap. Do not...
Read moreGreat authentic place to eat fresh sea produce. Not only that, but they also have great options for those who don't eat fish/seafood. The great experience starts with the couvert, which was a lovely melt-in-your-mouth sourdough-style bread, accompanied by green olives, butter and a sardine pate. We can recommend the grilled robalo, with the filet separated from the fishbones at the table. The picanha was also very tasty and the beans had a Brazilian style seasoning, which was a delightful surprise. The desserts were delicious, we had the flan and the caramel mousse. The service was friendly and efficient. Good atmosphere. Highly recommended lunch...

One thing to note is that the starter they place on the table isn't cheap, but you can return it if you don't want it (as is common across Portugal). We ordered sea bass for two and sea bream for two; both were good and abundant and the prices were typical for seafood places that charge by weight (in this case, €50 per kg). The vegetarian option, a vegetable lasagna, was also tasty. For dessert, we had pavlova and tiramisu, and both were delicious. Overall, it's a great place in a fishing area with a nice atmosphere, friendly service, and...
