The service is much better than the food. Waiters are nice and friendly. They kindly introduced the dishes and fresh fish with great details. Though so eager to sell out their fresh fish without expressing exactly how much each fish meal would cost. Drink is good, the bread is good. We ordered cataplana for two people, which is around 55euros. It looks nice and smells good. But tastes like plain water so we have to ask for salt otherwise it tastes like literally oil. When I asked the waiter if it was by design. He said some people don’t like salty food some don’t like spicy so they decided not to add it. Sounds like a pathetic excuse. It tastes nothing like seafood but a pot of Oliver oil without any favors. I mean when we asked for the details about this dish. They said it’s kind of like special sauce. Ok if it’s sauce, then it must have some favors. But it’s just bland. Besides the pot seems big but there are oceans of potatoes underneath. You will got only one small crab, one small lobster, a few old shrimps, five pieces of chewy monkfish meat. And left all the potatoes uneaten. We have to buy some churros after paying for 80euros for this meal. Btw we are quite a couple that are good at finding the positive sides of life. We started with praising the drinks, the service, the spot, the sunsets, and how big and impressive the main course is. But it ended with speechless complaints. Was it unique? Yes it was. But it was nothing good worthy of...

We went there on a weekday for lunch at 12 and were the first guests. We ordered the classic Caldeirada de Marisco (seafood stew) for two because you just can’t visit the coast in Portugal without trying it. The portion was huge and more than enough for 2 adults and 1 kid. The seafood was fresh and the sauce was really flavorful (maybe a little bit too salty). Among all the ingredients from the pot, the monkfish tasted the best to me. The price was absolutely competitive and we would love...

The food was very tasty, the price was good (adjusted for the location+view) and the staff was very friendly. We had “caldeirada de peixe” (fish stew)and grilled fish - we had the best food in Peniche at this place! The view is also very good, overlooking the marina (especially on the 2nd floor). I can highly recommend this place, it has some of the more reasonable prices and the quality was definitely a highlight! Thank you so much for providing us such a great experience with...

We weren’t sure what to order, so the waiter brought out a tray with apps we could pick and the olives were flavored so well, we even enjoyed dipping the bread in the olive brine. Then the waiter brought out two fresh fish for us to choose from and we picked the Grouper and it was so delicious, the salad was also seasoned perfectly and potatoes were delicious, Ive never tasted fish so fresh and delicious! Paired with some local red wine , it was divine!
