O Duarte — Restaurant in Portimão

I am really impressed with the food, the service and value for money. On the first night I had the monkfish skewer. Absolutely delicious and the best I've ever tasted. I returned for lunch today and decided to try the cuttlefish. Wow it was super delicious. As I didn't have room for a main I decided to try the fish soup which for me was a major departure from the norm as I never eat soup in a restaurant! It was absolutely delicious. I'm so taken with the place I've booked a table for Saturday evening. As a female solo traveller I found the experience very welcoming. The house white wine is very tasty and great value. This isn't a restaurant on the main strip but perhaps because of that they rely on quality and recommendations. I have no reservations in recommending...

I went to O Duarte based on a recommendation. The meat quality was exceptional and the staff is very friendly and ensures you are having a great time. I would return there anytime. Only downside is that they bring you bread with butter, a paste, cheese etc. without ordering it and every item is charged separately which I was unaware of. But still an awesome value for...

Stopped for lunch based on recommendations. Didn't disappoint. Dish of the day was mackerel with rice, bread olives, salad, beer and coffee 13euros. Great service, the fish was really well cooked and generous portions. My friends had portugese steak, bifana wine and beers. Total bill 45€. Really good authentic Portugese food....
