Sabores da Esquina — Restaurant in Portimão

We had wanted to go a year ago but they were closed, this time we stumbled across it again after a quick business visit to Alvor. The service at the restaurant was top notch. We ordered the octopus salad to start, and what more can we say other than fresh, tasty and enjoyable. We each snacked on a bifana and chips and these were juicy, tasty and fresh. We stopped for a late lunch on a Sunday after an emergency visit to the nearby hospital and were blown away. This super friendly family run restaurant could not be faulted. The service was excellent, the restaurant spotless and beautifully cared for and the food was so good we will travel to Alvor to eat here when we are next in Algarve. Great place! Friendly staff with lots of variety of food including a good selection of vegan options! We came here twice on our holiday, both times everyone had a great meal and enjoyed the food. I had the seitan and tofu a casa both where brilliant, very tasty! and for dessert I had the vegan cake, also very good. They provided a high chair for my toddler too.
