What your read on other reviews regarding wait times was my experience as well. HOWEVER, I find that to be the case in most restaurants. Perhaps not as long as what I experienced here but I think that as a traveler it's more about adapting to the dining experience overall. Getting that out of the way... The food was delicious, fresh, and made to order. The waitress was incredibly attentive and they even comped us some bolo de bacalhau which made me change my mind entirely about bacalhau. Even if you have it somewhere else and decided that you didn't like it, try it here. You won't be disappointed.

Furthermore, they made room for my wife and I last minute despite having two large parties and the restaurant completely booked. Nonetheless we always felt attended to and never like an inconvenience or secondary guest. My wife and I have every intention of returning before our trip...

I liked this restaurant. I went there with my daughter for dinner and we met with good service and polite staff. The taste of the meals was nice. Their starters were good. We ordered steak and special cod fish and both of them were delicious. And also ordered a takeaway. They are serving "Super Bock" beer and that is my favorite in Portugal. The prices were exactly reasonable, the only thing was the place was small and so before you go there be sure that you have a reservation. My family, thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the service, the food was wonderful, at very reasonable prices for very generous portions of tasty Portuguese food. We had the main ham/ beef, cheese sandwich in puff pastry, the veal was tender alongside the accompanying cooked vegetables. Compared to other nearby restaurants, far less salt added to foods.
