Jardim Teófilo Braga — Attraction in Porto

In my opinion this garden is one of the most beautiful places of Porto. It is at the top of an hill surrounded by an urban area. Lapa church and Trindade are not faraway from here. What I like about this place is a concentration of Porto atmosphere, the usual houses jumelated with palm trees and flowers. It offers you a taste of Mediterranean atmosphere inside Porto. It was a great idea to call this garden the "republican place" there is a feeling of hope and peace when visiting this garden. When I first got to know this place I was struck by the fact that in a square this big there was not a big statue right in the middle of it just like I was used to see in similar squares in Lisbon and other European cities.
