You know the saying; when it seems too good to be true, it usually is. So we came in with a bit of scepticism after seeing only 5-star reviews.
But boy, were all those reviewers right. The food is amazing. We had the Salmon Brunch and the Tomas Brunch. And Brunch is the right term, this will keep us going until dinner. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
The portions are big, be warned if you’re not a big eater. Everything is fresh, and the flavors complete each other. Amazing taste, from the fresh toast until the fresh fruit salad and everything in between!
Great coffee (also bigger cups than expected), and the atmosphere is great. It is small, but does not feel crowded, even when all tables are occupied. It’s cozy, and feels homey.
Great service, with a true smile. No hospitality-smile, but straight from the heart.
When you have the chance, go eat here. You will not regret it.
Highly recommended, we’ll be...

From the outside it is a normal, old fashioned place which could not differ more from the kind of place people look for these days when they visit another city, which tend to be more instagram-friendly. We wanted to go to have breakfast in different places while visiting Porto but we ended up coming again because of the outstanding quality of the service, the food and its convenience. The brunch menus are packed with food for a reasonable price and the other items on the menu like the bowls or the toasts are delicious. Coffee is genuinely good and we ended up paying peanuts for a great experience. If I ever return to Porto it will be the first place I go to for breakfast.

Read moreThis is a great place! I was searching for a reasonably priced place to have brunch and stumbled upon this place. To my surprise, no one was in there eating but I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. I got the salmon toast meal which came with coffee as well! The food came out quickly and it was all very good. I believe this meal was 11.50 euros, which I think is extremely fair. The man running the front was very kind and thoughtful. I went on a Tuesday. I was fully prepared to go back on Wednesday but discovered that’s their day off. I went back on Thursday, but unfortunately they were closed due to technical issues, which was a bummer, especially as it was my last morning in Porto. If I come back, I will definitely go back...
