Disappointing. Describing itself as a 'brunch restaurant', but unable to make a proper eggs benedict or an iced latte. Firstly; the coffee seemed to have been made by pouring hot coffee directly onto ice, so of course all the ice melted, leaving just watered-down coffee, to which 'uht' milk was added. What was brought to the table was a very large glass of cold milk with no ice at all, and with some watered-down coffee flavour: NOT an iced latte. Management: why not provide some training for your barista? Eggs benny had cheap white bread, two over-poached eggs served luke-warm, and some flavourless mushrooms. If you wish to add mushroom to the dish, why not cook them with some seasoning? Paprika, salt? Maybe cook them in butter, not oil? They were really tasteless, and not a pleasant texture. The "sauce" on top was served cold, was not made fresh and was hands-down the worst attempt at a hollandaise sauce that I have tasted. The service was fast and pleasant. We had such high hopes. 🫤 Firstly, our first waitress took our order for appetizers and my order for dinner. She was supposed to come back and take my husband's order when she brought the appetizer. She never came back. Never. Came. Back. We flagged down another waitress who said the first went home. She then took my husband's order. Half an hour more goes by and she brings our appetizer AND my order. Um. I'd like to wait until my husband's order comes to eat? Well it never came. As a Porto citizen, this place is a disgrace. It is ONLY tailored to tourists. The food was extremely bland and unsalted. The prices are sky high for mediocre food. Although the plating of the food was nice and appealing, the flavour is lacking. The location of the restaurant is okay. The space is huge with nice decorations; it also has an outdoor seating area, but not with any views whatsoever.
