We happened upon this place just by accident a week after it opened and it was such a nice surprise! We were led upstairs to a really lovely, fresh open setting with a really beautiful, low-key balcony with plenty of space. The music was commercial dance which wasn't our thing but they have live music through the weekend. The house cocktail menu was astonishing integrated with ingredients fresh from the region, each recipe paying homage to the local environment and the family history with flavours and presentations that were completely original and well priced. The first bar or restaurant in Azores that they brought us glasses of water immediately when we sat (before even ordering). Should be the norm in an island with so many springs but it isn’t.

This place is absolutely amazing! Not only are the cocktails absolutely delicious, they are beautiful, clever, and meaningful to the fantastic bartender who crafted them. Each recipe is visually interesting, tasty, and well thought out. The menu includes interesting stories that explain how each ingredient represents this area in which they are grown, which clearly shows the pride and love put into each one and this place.
