Summer Breeze — Restaurant in Povoação

Excellent choice..we accidentally came here after Tony's and Miroma didn't serve food between 15-18 (or similar hours). And we couldn't be more lucky. First, the service (waiter) was very nice and second, the food was superb (best I had in Azores so far for sure). The tuna steak as the recommendation from the waiter, was perfect. I have to say we have been in many restaurants around Azores and everywhere was something wrong (the food or the service) ..but here, everything perfect ....second day we unfortunately tried another restaurant in Furnas (miroma) and that was kinda fail ..so I would definitely recommend going to Summer Breeze and let a waiter help you with your choice. I would gladly return...

Usually people want Cuzido in Furnas. Me too but I was hiking and late from all the places almost around 3-4pm. Some friends told me they got Cuzido here and it was nice so I went with them to the Breeze restaruant/bar. They were closing because when lunch session (from 12/1pm-3/4pm) is over in Portugal, they close and workng behind the doors for evening session!

BUT I asked a kind main waitress lady how I can have a Cuzido and I was able to pick one portion for taking away! I have to tell you honestly, it is more than enough for 2 very hungry people!!! Really huge portion! 👌🏻😀

Family-run restaurant (with grandparents in the kitchen and the son serving). We visited 4 times in our weeklong stay, having checked out a couple of the other restaurants in Furnas. Don't visit if you are looking for a quick dinner as the service can be slow, but they always told us this before we sat down and were always very friendly.
