It was empty, compared to other restaurants, so out of pity we gave it a chance. The Codfish was ruberry with fishy smell and oversalted. The waiter later admitted it was frozen. The vila vicente beefsteak was OKish but strange (pineapple, peach, ham, egg, loads of mayo) Portions were large thouhg - almost unnessecarilly large - I would prefer quality instead.

The cons: The quality is lacking a bit, I find. By Madeira standards, the seafood isn’t nearly as good you’d expect. You could get the same in the UK or Germany.
