O Melhor Croissant da Minha Rua — Restaurant in Sesimbra

My boyfriend and I were on a trip with a group and stumbled across this place. The food here is amazing and the price is great. As you wait for them in line, you watch the bakers make fresh croissants right in front. Why I’m giving them only 3 stars is because during the times we’ve visited, one of the staff members was incredibly rude to us. I understand that my bf and I don’t speak Portuguese well, but that’s not an excuse to roll your eyes and proceed to raise your voice and be short with us. We visited around 6:30ish and I get that the shift is almost over and people are tired and want to go home, but that doesn’t make it ok to act that way towards customers. My daughter loves this place! she always got the salmon croissant. I got the tomatoes and mozzarella one day and a ham a cheese one for her. She didn't care for that one but loved the salmon. I got the hot chocolate....I thought it was a drink as in the picture on the menu board behind the counter, it had a straw coming out of it...it literally was a cup of melted chocolate. I thought maybe I was supposed to mix it with water....nope...so. go figure. 🤷🏽‍♀️ i was not a fan of the tomatoes and mozzarella, warm salad wasn't really good and the added sweetness from the croissant did not...

Nice little place with very fresh croissants. Prices are decent and they do many diff et ent versions and toppings. The Portuguese croissant is in my opinion the best one with its brioche dough, but I do like a place that specialises in one thing and does it well. But if you’re looking for something other than a croissant, this is not your place. We had the presunto and queijo and it was nice. Huge croissant and one is enough for two, I’d say.
