For some reason, it is a much busier place than places around it, though it is not clear why Apparently, people think if it is very busy, it should be good, and want to eat here. I would disagree and stay away. I actually left after 15 minutes because nobody steel took my order. It took almost 10 minutes to bring a menue, unsanitary and worn down looking laminated sheet with hand written prices on top of printed ones. The waiters are very busy with the outside eaters, running around and create a stressful ambience. The menue items don't look particularly special or particularly inexpensive. I really don't understand why so many people choose it. Please, make their life a little easier and choose a...

I had lunch here today. I was kindly received. It was quite busy, but luckily I was only allowed to sit at a table outside on the terrace. The waiter tried to talk to me in English and was very friendly! He brought me a menu especially in English.

They have several fish dishes. I didn't know what to choose, so I chose cutlassfish. Unfortunately, they didn't have it, but he immediately came up with an alternative: Choco Frito. Never heard of it, but it seems to be a popular fish dish here in Setubal.

I must admit, I found it very tasty. The choco Frito was served with chips and I also ordered a mixed salad.

Busy, busy ,busy ... That's always a good sign. They do not take reservations, you're seated by order of arrival (so take into consideration that you may have to wait in line to be seated). Don't expect fancy restaurant presentation on your plate, but if simple, fresh, we'll prepared food is what you're after, here you have it! Friendly staff, quick to take your order, well organised. Close to the water, for a post meal walk. Highly recommended for an authentic Portuguese seafood meal.

Nice place with lots of atmosphere and outside dining. The fish soup was amazing! Loved it. Oysters were good too. House white was nice and a little bubbly. The sardines were good but the grilled cod was overcooked and dry. Such a shame. Our waiter who spoke English was so nice and pleasant but the service was slow but so many people eating out on this sunny Wednesday.
