A fascinating church and upper choirs! For visiting the upper choirs you need to go into the museum; the church has an entrance from the side of the building and seems to be open at different times than the museum. I recommend to read a small booklet which is available on the upper choirs entrance to understand this gem better. I also found a mummy thanks to this booklet. Soon the museum will be fully open, right now the part of it is under renovation. But the museum and the church are worth visit anyway and now it is free of charge. Also nice people work there. Thank you for preserving this place!

An outstanding collection of medieval and renaissance art in the heart of a busy port town. This is a very modern approach on museum curation, with plenty of multilingual texts to read and plenty of information to absorb. The highlight has to be the wonderful polyptych heavily influenced by the Flemish painters of the northern renaissance. Equally impressive is the church right next to the museum. A beautiful mix of styles and a set of columns that somehow find its way into Gaudi’s designs.
