The Pearl of Sines! The owners with their work and thrive to cultivate Portuguese traditions are bringing joy and totally different quality to the city. They are very positive, speak perfect English and do their best to make you feel at home.

Unbelievable service. My big thanks to Frederico who did miracles in the kitchen to fit my super restrictive diet, make my belly full and happy🙂‍↔️

Mercearia 27 is a great place to eat or dinner, or lunch with the nice atmosphere and music and also to listen fado on Thursdays. I was with my fiancé and we are foreigners yet never felt better and more welcomed in Sines (and in the whole Portugal) as here.

At the end I totally felt in love with fado. And believe me, I heard a lot and I was not so much into. This experience though: musicians, singers, all atmosphere changed everything. If you are not a fan, try this. You will love...

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Mercearia, and we must say, it was an exceptional experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The menu offers a great variety, ensuring there's something for everyone. The owner nicely explained which dishes contains gluten (allergies). The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy dinner. We went twice. That should tell you something.

Stopped in the first evening we were in town. Super super super super nice guy running the bar and kitchen. We had what was probably the best sangria I've ever had.

We enjoyed it so much we stopped back by midday the next day and had more sangria. My wife had a little pastry that was a beautiful combination of chocolate and subtle hints of lemon.
