Cafe Ocidente — Restaurant in Sintra

Ok.. so we went to Cabo da Roca view point which was absolutely stunning. After all the photos and walking around we got hungry and I was craving a coffee.. found this place online with good reviews so decided to go. Damn did we ever make a good choice, the plate of food that we ordered was literally the best dish we had throughout our entire trip in portugal. My gf wasn't even hungry took one lil bite to try and ended up ordering herself one because it was that good. If anyone ever makes their way to Cabo da Roca view point please stop at this place on your way out you will not be disappointed I PROMISE. PS their coffee is damn good too. The host is very nice aswell, we made small talk for a bit and he gave us a shot of some traditional portugal liquor. Thank you cafe ocidente...

This is the best food and absolutely the best service I have had in Portugal.

This spot is truly one of those roadside gems that are often overlooked by many tourists looking for their idea of the perfect restaurant experience.

The shrimp, fresh bread and local cheese were delicious. The tomato pesto toast was a much larger portion than we were expecting and delicious.

The owners exude gratitude, love and appreciation in everything that they do here.

If we lived closer, I would return to this...
