This was incredible! All of the food was absolutely delicious: bread, olives, Portuguese sausage, peppers, beans, rice, fries, cold slaw, and incredible steak with just the right about of seasoning and fat. Dessert was incredible as well. Photos attached include the delicious smooth lime cheesecake, Portuguese style apple pie, and chocolate mousse which was light fluffy and creamy! Overall we had an incredible and unique experience! The owner was our waiter and all of our questions regarding this "steak on the stone" cooking method were answered with a depth of knowledge and kind genuine caring for our curiosity! Rafael was incredible! Thank you so much Rafael!!

I found this from Google reviews. Especially one saying you’re insane if you don’t stop here. And we did. I can honestly tell you it is awesome. The owner is such a gentleman, so genuine, caring, generous and loving of his profession. The food itself was fresh, from the couvert to the meat itself. Absolutely deserving 5 stars (and a Michelin star ;). He has Vallado wines as his house wine (umm 5/5 also). And his wife is the chef and she’s lovely, great attention to quality produce. No wonder his restaurant is so highly rated.

A hidden gem! Are you kidding me? Walked in there with no expectations, but as it turned out one of my favorite dining experiences. The service was outstanding, personal and a lot of attention to detail. The food was amazing, a real "local" feel but without the seafood, which I dont like, so this was perfect for me! All together fantastic experience, and I will come back!

Interior is just is in any other tavern. But this is not what you are here for. Set menu (for carnivours of life) icluding staters "eat as much as you can" meaning the set of starters (bread, olives, hot pepperoni and padrones, also hot, and salty) is not even the mark of the place. And the main menu with the same approach - cook and eat as much meat as you can - (on the hot stone, with side disheas (fries and cole-slow and rice and beans). The secret is that you felt welcomed, at home, a dear guest. OMG, I wouldn't believe I would get this priceless experience for such a price nowdays (do not ask me, but it is less then 25 euros per person). We came to Sal & Xixa SteakHouse in the evening and had such a fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming - especially the lovely gentleman who served us. The food was absolutely amazing, and the all-you-can-eat style meant we could enjoy as much as we wanted.

Since it was my birthday, they even surprised me with a few freebies, which made the night feel extra special. One of the coolest things was their hot stone gimmick, where you can cook your own steak right at the table - it's not only delicious but adds a really fun atmosphere to the whole experience.

i dont even know where to begin with! this was one of the best places i have ever been to eat. we are just amazed.

2 people, all you can eat amazing rumpsteak which you grill yourself on hot stone. all sides (rice, chips, beans, salad, bread, pimientos, chorizo, olives) included. 2 beers, bottle of water, red wine, half a bottle of ginja liqueur and an amazing chocolate mousse dessert.

total price 59€

in germany i would have paid triple the money for probably half the quality and would have been laughed at for bringing a baby.
