Disapointing. I usually do some research on restaurants and I had high hopes on this place. When we sat down a lad appeared and dropped off the full couvert without a word, then ran off! Bread, olives, sardine pates, butter and the little round cheese, none of it asked for, all of it charged for. I was slightly surprised, I thought this was only done in the rip-off restaurants? If they did this to make a few extra Euros it backfired, because we didn't order entree's having all this unasked for stuff to eat! My girlfriend had piri piri chicken, not too bad but a lot of bones. My mixed fish grill had 3 small pieces of fish, 3 small boiled potatoes, and a carrot halved. It was ok, kinda average. Read moreThere are so many places to eat in season in Tavira, it can be difficult to choose! We chose wisely here. Courteous and positive staff able to make menu suggestions in English French and German (from what we heard). Indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonably priced Portugese cuisine, steak and cod fish around €15. Pleasant wine, smooth coffee. Can't account for deserts as we were too full to try. First time trying the local cod fish. Moist and very meaty. My companions both had steak and really enjoyed them. As I say we were all stuffed. Starter of olives, three mains, litre of water, two glasses of wine and coffees came to €52, which I found very reasonable for such a...
