We actually wanted to go to Zeca da Bica which appears to be closed on Wednesdays. We know Zeca da Bica and it's a very nice restaurant but today we're so happy it was closed as we discovered Franganario. If we had to recommend either one, it would probably be both but Franganario was such a discovery. Nice and tasteful local cuisine that you just can't ignore. Read moreWe had an evening meal here on 18th of May 2024. Having read the previous reviews we were really looking forward to a good meal. Unfortunatel, the whole experience was a massive disapointment. Front of house staff looked decidedly fed up, but she eventually took our order and stomped off. There wont be...

Definitely our favourite restaurant in Tavira, and we will come back for sure in our next...
