Sitio Café — Restaurant in Tavira

If you are looking for a real Portuguese pavement look at the street, you get the atmosphere here. To the left there's a garage, to the right another café and the car street in front of you.

I love this kind of setting. It is unpretentious. A lot of nice people passing. You can sit there for hours with a coffee or a beer and just relax and enjoy.

Six tables outside, some more inside. Very clean and welcoming. Different kinds of of sandes (sandwiches) and toasts which have very nice and unexpected toppings. Very good, Cheese and a couple of other tapas, coffee, wine, sangria, beer, sodas. The prices are very moderate. Recommended!

Waited for 20 minutes and no service…went to bar to order and told that orders taken at the table. Looked around and others leaving and people just sitting and waiting….no food in sight or drinks. Sat down and waved at waiter and he acknowledged us but we continued to sit and wait. Looked in kitchen and it was a slow go and no real concern with the full house and poor service….eventually got up...

Been a few more times and the grumpy girl doesn’t seem to be there any more. So it’s gone to 4 stars 😃 I’d still like them to be a little friendlier but it’s great value and lovely spot

Mixed feelings about this place. Location is good and food ok. Went in the evening and had lovely cold beer brought by friendly waiter. The girl at breakfast quite unfriendly. Really didn’t feel...
