Please trust me, do not come here! The food is absolutely horrible, oily, the service is a disgraceful, we ordered the english breakfast and it was not edible! English sausage was raw, the plates were chipped, the beans were cold, the bacon was dripping in oil! I raised a complaint politely to Sara, from the moment we called her over, she did not listen, spoke over me, and went in the kitchen to talk about the issue and laugh about us. Than the father came, who I assume is the owner, and did not even listen to the clients complaint, obviously he took his daughters side. Understandable but as a client, paying nearly 40euros for the food, I would at least expect them to address the complaint. The owner screamed at us was so rude that I was in shock, I have never experienced this type of treatment. We wrote a complaint in the "book of complaints" they didn't even know how that worked, and that by law they are obliged to give us a copy of the complaint. The following message is to Sara and her father: You may respond to this complaint with your version of the story, but you know very well the cleanliness of your location, quality of your food and your lack of politeness to customers is appalling. the vitamins bar is most definitely my favorite place in tavira! ❤️their cocktails, wine and mixed drinks are simply fabulous. what i like is that they really don’t screw you over like some other places and give you your proper load of liquor 😛 my vodka coke zero was very strong indeed. believe me i was really not needing another drink after drinking that (if ykyk) my bestie had a slushie with a cheeky vodka shot added into it 🙏🏻 such a fun little summer drink :-) if you are vegan you will not be left out either as they have a selection of a few yummy vegan foods. i went for the paella which i ate all up!! the staff was so kind and lovely, helpful and fast, they made the atmosphere in the bar fun and free ✌🏼just like me after...

Een leuk klein horecatentje is dit, op een hoekje met uitzicht over de bootjes die stevig verankert en sloom dobberen op de gestaag en onverstoorbaar doorstromende rivier , een rivier die even verder in zee uitstroomt en dan tot rust komt. Ze zijn daar tot laat ´s avonds open dus wanneer je een verlate vlucht hebt gehad maak je daar nog een goede kans om de eerste honger toch nog te kunnen stillen. Het is een beetje een familieachtig geheel gesitueerd in een slaperig dorpje. Het ene ´familielid´ heeft wel véél meer kaas gegeten van het horecavak dan het andere, dat moet gezegd. Ook is het wonderlijk wat er aan eten op de luttele vierkante meters nog tevoorschijn wordt getoverd, ik verbaasde me erover. Brilliant schoon is het er niet maar onverantwoord lijkt het me toch ook niet. Er komen redelijk veel autochtonen en er is dus wel wat te verliezen wanneer het onverhoopt een keer misgaat. Een piepklein terrasje ligt aan de voorkant en een wat langgerekter terras aan de zijkant in een zijstraat van de bescheiden wandelboulevard. De wifi werkte er prima trouwens, de wachtwoorden veranderen er vele jaren achter elkaar niet ... teveel gedoe naar me schijnt. Het is een plek om zo nu en dan toch maar weer eens te bezoeken, gewoon uit nieuwsgierigheid, nou ja, ´wanneer dat zo uitkomt´ dan.
