Il faut continuer, après Tavira, sur la nationale 125. Après arrivée à Cabanasu. un rond-point, il faut tourner à droite. Ja este restaurante e a Cabanas. A perso de Tavira. Tomar a estrada N 125, depos Tavira. Quanto encontrar um rodonda, vira a dirareita. Tem um placard. Este restaurante e mervelhoso. Anos e anos, sempre egual. Saude para todos. This resto is not im Tavira. You take the way Nr 125. After Tavira, you follow with a Nr 125. When you arrivé to Cabanas (about 3/4/5 kms After Tavir begining of the street , you go AT right. I know this resto since many many years. It is Always in the TOP. If you see some bad comments about services ou something liké that, it is only because this restaurant is part of thé first classe. Good sea foods are the same quality. Really, is very very good place. And the owner always is in place, or near to see foods & service. This is the seafood place to go in the area. A bit more upscale than the (good though!) places with plastic chair seating, but not pretentious: you can wear a dress or shirt without feeling out of place.

Service is very attentive, the interior (in the second building) is modern sexy, and you overlook the Laguna to the sea. On the balcony a slight breeze will be in your hair and you can count the boats on the water. The atmosphere is hard to beat. Life will be all easy.

The food is very good. There is all kinds of hard to get shellfish, and of course all kinds of fish-fish the region has to offer. There is even a very good dessert, which is rare, as the patisserie is a neglected art in Portugal.

Even the prices are very moderate. Actually almost too low for the variety and quality you get.

We've lived in the area since 2015 and this restaurant is superb. The staff are amazing - courteous, service-oriented and so kind. Our favourite is the generous Rock Lobster platter which is currently €52.00 (Nov 2019) for 2 people. Having travelled a lot, I am quite sure that there are few places in Europe where you'll find this kind of value for money. The lobsters are fresh, as is the other seafood that they serve. It has happened that I've requested a fish that's not available because it wasn't caught during the fishing that morning - such a commitment to fresh fish!
