Absolutely terrible. Chef completely unwilling to take critiscism, cynical behaviour of the staff, lack of transparency and rudeness. For the second time I went there I wasn't offered a receipt for what I've paid - which by the way was absolutely stolen: you'll be paying less per person in some Michelin star restaurants in lisbon. Editing my review to reply to owners comment: I double-checked and yes, I am writting about Spaghetti restaurant in Santa Cruz. Bad service, long waiting We were there on a weekday and we had to wait almost an hour on our food. One thing we ordered never arrived, even after multiple times asking about it. The server was rude and had absolutely no patience. They obviously didn’t have their things sorted as multiple people and families were waiting outside for a table for a very long time and they just forgot about them. Also, no option to make a dish vegetarian, it was a very easy request with only changing out the bolognese sauce with a normal tomato sauce, but she didnt even listen and immediately said no and was very rude about it. There was a big and a small portion option (both for one person) but you automatically got the big one for almost double the price. Felt like a tourist trap! The food...

This place is wonderful. Not only was the food amazing (and actually served to us by the chef himself) but the chef and everyone who works at the restaurant are extremely kind.

I took a pretty good fall of my bike on my way to Santa Cruz. It was late and the pharmacy was closed so I walked into the restaurant pretty banged up. The hostess immediately got out the medical kit and cleaned me up, and the chef brought us some food to start as well. He even gave us limoncello at the end of our meal to help me with my pain haha.
