Really disappointed We had high hopes for this place. We visited on Thursday morning to check it out and although just opening it looked lovely. The gentleman who greeted us very polite. We booked for tea time the next day, a table in the shade by the pool, so our little boy could play with one of us whilst the others ate. So far so good… We arrived on the Friday and the atmosphere was weird. The guy behind the bar was shouting at one waitress and the other waitress seemed totally scared. They showed us to a table away from the pool by the road. We asked about the table we asked for by the pool and the music and were told these tables were reserved now for bigger tables. We specifically asked for these tables when we booked as our son wanted to play in the pool. If they had said no then, then no hard feelings but they specifically said it was ok. Read moreMy wife and I spent the past few weeks in Burgau, and the Nova Beach Club became our favorite place to eat. We enjoyed spending the evenings when live entertainment was offered. The music was always great. I think we tried everything on the menu and were never disappointed. Ivore the chef does a fantastic job preparing each dish with fresh ingredients and wonderful flavours. Gio the manager was exceptional in making us feel welcome, answering any questions we had about the area and lining up great entertainment. Special shout out to the servers Tobias and Isabelle! These two always made our evenings special with great service, good humour and information. We had many good meals in Burgau but you can't beat the combination of good music, good food and good fellowship you will find at the Nova Beach Club. Thanks for making our...
Read moreWe enjoyed a late lunch here today. Perfectly delightful with very good food at fair prices, especially give it's cliff top location. No you can't walk out to the cliffs edge from the restaurant, but there are other access points that are not part of the pool a children's playground. We enjoyed 2 appetizer plates of their mussels and a single side of fries. This was washed down by Sagres draft and white and rosé wines. A tiramisu capped it off for the finale. The staff was friendly, prompt and efficient. The view from the table gave a hint of what you can see from beyond the fence. There is a pool there as well that several bathers were enjoying with lounges and umbrellas. I imagine this has a price attached, but this is a spot that you could enjoy for...
