Came here for dinner last night. The place is typical/traditional look. It’s a bit warm inside - I wish they turned on the AC. The service was great. It’s run by a family. The lady (I think she’s the owner) was friendly and efficient. The boy was very efficient as well.
The food we ordered: Shrimp toast - it wasn’t my favorite because it’s not what I’m used to get - I wish they chopped of them shrimp and mix it with egg & flour. Lula fritas - I love these. Crispy batter and tender squid. Shrimp fried rice - great fried rice. I love the char/Smokey flavor from the work. It’s flavorful - I think it could use these dark soy sauce Mala tofu - we asked for the vegetarian option / they taste great. I would love it to be spicier (maybe with extra Szechuan peppercorns). Great flavor. Shrimp chow mein / it came out sizzling on a hot plate. Great flavor as well.
Overall the food were tasty. I know it’s not the traditional Chinese food - but it’s what we were looking for. The price was great too. All those 5 dishes plus a half bottle of wine and a can of coke = €42

Read moreWe often bought take away food from this restaurant, but our last experience was not good (June, 2022). I think they lost the quality. I don't know if it is because of our bad choice or others reason.
Cons: We ordered chicken with castanha and tofu. Both food was terrible. Mala tofu costs almost €8 and just tofu, no veggies, no chicken, nothing. I could buy a rectangle of tofu in Chinese supermercado costs me €1,20 The taste was strange and too spicy for my husband. The chicken castanha was like left over food. When you see the food seemed like it was not good.
Pros: Payment by cash or Multibanco. The restaurant...
