Mimos — Restaurant in Vila Nova de Gaia

My partner and I went to this small little restaurant and we had such a great experience. The staff were so pleasant to deal with. Although there were only two options to choose from (spaghetti with veal or fish fillet with rice or potatoes- this May change on a daily basis) it was soo good and cheap. 5 € gets you a soup,bread, drink, coffee, the choice of either the spaghetti or the fish and you get a dessert. What a hidden gem! This is where the locals go to eat. This was the cheapest and one of the best meals I ate while in Portugal. Great lunch that includes bun, soup, americano, water and the daily lunch for a very good price....

Si pasas por un sitio donde estén comiendo obreros... entra, ahí se come bien seguro. Y así paso, paseábamos por la calle de camino a nuestro coche y vimos que estaban unos obreros de una obra cercana comiendo y efectivamente, no nos defraudo. Un menú del día con una sopa buenísima y un Bacalhau à Brás excelente, vino y un postres delicioso... 👌 todo tan rico y bueno que volvimos al día siguiente para comer allí de nuevo. Excelente comida casera y esta vez probamos unas deliciosas tripas a moda do Porto y un arroz con pescado maravilloso. 100% comida casera y sin duda mucho mejor que cualquier otro caro y turístico...
