Steakhouse à Brasileira — Restaurant in Vila Nova de Gaia

This recently opened steak house is well worth a visit. As you'd expect by the name, they offer some Brazilian steak just metres from the river in Porto. The meat was exceptionally well cooked - juicy and tender and plenty of flavour. The attention to detail stood out, with interesting accompaniments like black salt and a cassava flour crunchy rub, on the plate as well as the meat and sauce.

We fancied steak and we were not disappointed by what we found. Do find the time to try this new restaurant, which is connected to a lovely food hall/market.

In fact the owner has run a stall there for a number of years and has now expanded his empire to include this brilliant restaurant - good decision!

It was a busy place. So we decided to find a good restaurant to have a late lunch. Googled and saw it has great reviews. Seated upstairs and server is just too busy as he has to attend outdoors and upstairs! Prices are cheap on the menu. Wine by the glass Rose was only 3.5 Euro though a small glass but with this price and quality, it was very nice. We ordered a Ribeye steak to share, Camembert to start (this is very good), but the sides grilled vegetables is a letdown, was expecting some varieties. Grilled corn is nice. Ribeye steak is most disappointing, it feels like any ordinary steak and after waited for so long, the 300g is just a piece of flat meat. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Steakhouse a Brasileria, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. I ordered the Ribeye steak, and it was absolutely perfect—juicy, tender, and full of rich flavor. Cooked to perfection with a beautiful sear on the outside and a perfectly medium-rare center, it was easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had.

The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.
