Absolutely appalling service . Arrived at 8.30pm.Shown to table with dirty glasses and plates. Waiter fetched light across and made no effort to remove dirty dishes. . Sat for an hour before anyone even came to offer us a drink or menu .(on holiday so don't like to make a fuss) Whilst waiting for an hour other diners walked in had menu drinks and food before anyone even had took our order. No apologies what so ever. Whilst waiting for an hour and a half a group of young people came in had seats menus and drinks within 10 minutes. My husband raised his hand for the waiter to acknowledge him as we seemed invisible. He just looked walked away and never came back. Staff deliberately seemed to be turning their backs on us whilst going to other tables to serve other people. Very ignorant. Also as we both ordered the most expensive thing on menu fillet steaks were not even given a steak knife. Fillet steak was quite tough as even a normal knife had trouble cutting through it . I have only good things to say about this place! We ordered the Willem pasta and grilled chicken. The willem pasta was absolutely delicious, with plenty of grilled vegetables. The only thing i wish was different was that they would add more chicken to the pasta, but otherwise it was perfect. As for the grilled chicken, it came with fries and a side salad (which was all delicious). the table already had sauce packets which we thought was a nice addition. We also ordered two cocktails, a pink mojito and pina colada, and let me just say, i never normally go for the pina colada at restaurants as they are always made too sweet. Amazing service from Nick, Ketlyn and the other staff members, I have thoroughly enjoyed eating here as my Portuguese is not great at all but Nick’s English was second to none, I was expecting to have to use google translate but the guy understood me perfectly and he communicated in perfect English, made me feel at home, that’s why I kept coming back during my stay here in Portugal, I was made feel welcome, the food was great and I couldn’t fault the place in any way, service was 10 out of 10 same as food and atmosphere, I’ll definitely be back for the summer holiday and I can’t wait to come back, once again thank you to all the staff...
