Have eaten here three times in the last two days, what a place. First of all, to be sure of a lunchtime table, arrive early or be prepared to wait. It very soon fill up with locals, Portuguese and Spanish visitors. The menu is in Portuguese and Spanish and although not extensive, there is something for everyone, and the portions are enormous. Unless you are a big eater, most dishes will be enough for two. Over the three visits we had two lovely fresh salads, one with marinated octopus, the other with fish eggs, Almejas, a wonderful fresh tuna stew with onions and potatoes, and a half portion of liver. The daily specials are enough for two to share and excellent value at around 9 - 10 Euros. Lunch for two, including drinks will set you back around 20 Euros, but you wont anything else to eat for the rest of the day ! The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is superb, plenty of banter from the kitchen. A true gem of a place, and I am looking forward to my next visit...

This is not a Michelin type restaurant but more the type "home cooked" meals, big plates for a modest price. Looks like the place is more popular with locals than tourists......
