I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chef's Selection Restaurant and I have to say, I was blown away by their amazing sushi and poke bowls. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this was going to be a special dining experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was modern and inviting, with a sushi bar and open kitchen where you could see the chefs in action. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that our dining experience was top-notch. But let's get to the food – the star of the show. The sushi at Chef's Selection was some of the best I have ever had. The fish was incredibly fresh and the rice was perfectly seasoned. Each piece was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend trying their specialty rolls, such as the Dragon Roll or the Spicy Tuna Roll – they were both outstanding. The poke bowls were also a standout dish. The fish was marinated to perfection and paired with fresh vegetables and a delicious sauce. I loved the variety of toppings and the option to customize your bowl to your liking. I also appreciated that they offered a variety of fish options, including salmon, tuna, and shrimp. What I loved most about Chef's Selection was their commitment to using high-quality and sustainable ingredients. They source their fish from local fishermen and use organic produce whenever possible. This not only made the food taste better, but it also made me feel good about what I was eating. In addition to the amazing food, the prices at Chef's Selection were very reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable our meal was, considering the high quality of the food and the overall dining experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I came here with some friends and ordered the poke bowl and pad thai, and honestly it was one of the best food experiences I’ve had in Viseu. The poke bowl was colorful and super fresh — generous salmon with crunchy veggies and perfectly seasoned rice. What made it even better was that one of the staff actually explained the best way to mix the sauce and toppings so the flavors come together. It sounds small, but it really changed the experience and showed how much they care about the food.

The pad thai was just as good — not greasy, not too sweet, with the right balance of peanuts, lime, and noodles. The portion was big enough to share, but so tasty I ended up finishing it myself.

I recently dined at Chef's Selection with amazing poke bowls. The owners, who are incredibly friendly and bilingual in Portuguese and English, provided quick service. The food presentation was outstanding and lived up to the advertised beauty. The poke bowl was a flavor explosion, with fresh fish and a variety of delicious toppings. They also accommodate for changing the poke bowl toppings to however you want it.

I also couldn't finish this review without recommending the Pad Thai. The flavour is amazing, and so well cooked and presented. Truly authentic, very similar to Pad Thais' I've had in Thailand and Australia.
