Applebee’s Al Jassim Tower — Restaurant in Doha

The service was really good, the staff were nice and the food came quickly. I always loved the interior design of any Applebees, they are always very cozy with all the posters and items around. However this Applebees branch at Al Nasr has the best location due to being a stand alone building, with a really cool brick architecture. Very western looking and fits the concept well.

I tried their new tacos, quesadilla burger and the steak on the hot skillet. All were amazing, the steak tasted really good, it was a bit hard even though it was cooked medium. The tacos were a bit sour due to the chipotle sauce I think, but the quesadilla burgers were good. Applebees does not have amazing burgers, they have better food, however this quesadilla burger was something new and good.

I also had their heavenly Oreo milkshake, I had a horrible Oreo milkshake this week at another location (You can find from my review from a few days ago), however this Applebees milkshake made up for it. I am officially...

Oh, this was so disappointing. The good stuff: The mocktails here are really nice and I would recommend the Red Apple Sangria. The not so good stuff: the steak. I have had steak at different Applebee's before in different countries and they have never disappointed. But the Garlic Steak in Doha was a meal I'd like to forget. I asked for a "Medium" done steak and the waiter on her part did confirm my choice and specify how it would turn out to be. But boy I did not expect what was coming. A 'grey' steak that was done "rare". Even If I had asked for a rare steak it would have barely been average. But this was just bad. Were very upset and disappointed at the same time it's very rude. We arrived at 11:45pm in Applebee’s restaurant in al saad. We sat outside the store to order some foods. Then we ask the staff if We can use the voucher that I have so they told me that only one voucher that we can use, so we’re ok about that. But the staff leave us and said to come back. So we’re waiting almost 10mins onwards then no one came to us. Its very disgusting because were come from far just to visit the store to eat the pasta because we’re craving on it.
