To the Westin Doha Hotel & Spa.
We sincerely thank each and every member of this hotel. We have never been so pampered and loved by any other hotels in the world than this one. This hotel is 10/10. We can warmly recommand this hotel to anyone who wish to experience luxury and mutual respect for each other. Why? Who are we to complain when everything were beyond our dreams. A hotel where we felt like coming home to our own family. When we came to our room a housekeeper pampered us with a dish full of delightful fresh food, a flaky cake and some lovely chocolate as a side dish. This was all complimentary. Can you believe that? Water bottles was in every corner of the room. We were so lucky when Mr. Evans and Mr. Batu showered our son with their love and attention. Mr. Evans (front desk) gave a room with the best view of the hotel and a extra bed for free. We have never experienced such hospitality. We loved knowing Aakash, Naw Lay, Badal, Anjana and so many more from the restaurant Seasonal Tastes we wished we rememebered their names. Please, we hope you know that we saw you and your love for your work. Your work ethics is something we all should learn from. We will cherish every moment and we will always remember the love we received from all of you for the rest of our life. They gave our son so much attention and love we have never experienced before. We want to thank ambassadeur Batu (Bekhruz) who took care of everything we needed to know. He basically fulfilled our wishes. We were able to have dinner at their restaurant for a discounted price twice thanks to Mr. Batu. Our son got gifts several times and also ice cream for free. Aakash and his team from Seasonal Tastes spoiled us with so much food and a farewell «see you soon» cake for us. We even took a few pictures together. That was fun. The staff at the restaurant Seasonal Tastes was amazing. Again, Batu, Evans, Sachini, Aakash, Naw Lay, Anjana and Badal was helpful and friendly, making our visit very enjoyable. They made great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed. Housekeeper Yamin made a snow bear, a duck and a heart with towels for our son. Omg! She was so sweet and cute. Our son says he has made several new friends. He even shed a tear or two when he left the restaurant. We really loved staying here. If you have been or ever wish to see Doha one day, this hotel is honestly the best hotel you will ever experience. We even heard from a taxi driver that Christianio Ronaldo has stayed here under world cup.
We were incredibly impressed with the service and hospitality at your hotel. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. Your attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference.
Our stay was truly wonderful, thanks to the excellent service.
Wish to see you soon,...

Read moreBeing a regular business traveller I have been in Westin hotel several time over the years. I even had my couple of Covid quarantines also in this hotel. Aspects that attracts me to this hotel is its location, internet quality and ambience but more than that it's evening that is centred around beautiful Westin club that is located on the first floor. This lounge that is frequented by the regular visitors and members of Marriott Bonvoy therefore it is common for frequent travellers to bump into each other and share stories over a drink or two.
Along with the calm ambience of the Westin Club with both indoor and outdoor seating one thing that is really unique is a tailored evening buffet that is presented by the in-house chef, I think his name is Gaanash. Because there are travellers from all over the world with different taste preferences therefore it is really very humbling and enjoyable when you are presented with the food that is cooked for your taste buds. Being a frequent traveller it is often quite annoying when you have to put up with foods that look good in these types of hotel lounges but you do not really enjoy eating.
Other excellent point about this hotel is its location that is really at the centre of road networks that goes everywhere and access to all parts of Doha is quite easy. Although traffic is now much better after world cup construction because of flyovers and roundabouts but still at the peak office hours it really works very well and one can easily travel to any direction especially destinations with government offices are nearby.
Although there is a fitness facility but I found that the road around the hotel complex (not public road) is excellent for evening walk because during the post summer season from October all the way up to April Doha weather is beautiful therefore walking around the hotel is excellent and the beautiful garden at the rear of the hotel next to the swimming pool is best place to stretch relax and cool down. I have not used a swimming pool recently but it was a nice experience in the past and it seems to be very managed and organised. I look forward to enjoying their new open-air evening brunch or cafe that they have started this year. I will be posting a review on that as well.
From privacy reasons I have not taken photographs of the Westin club, however I am including a a short of a beautiful dessert that was...
