Millennium Place Doha — Hotel in Doha

I recently stayed at Millennium Place Doha, and it was a truly delightful experience from start to finish.

The hotel’s location is convenient — tucked in Al Muntazah, it’s close to major landmarks like Souq Waqif and the Corniche, but still quiet enough to relax away from the city buzz. The moment I entered, the ambiance felt modern, welcoming, and classy.

Room & Comfort: My room was spacious, very clean, and had a soft, comfortable bed. I loved the modern design, and the bathroom was spotless with a strong shower and a big tub. They even had a washer/dryer in the room, which was super convenient for longer stays.

Staff & Service: What really made my stay special was the staff. Everyone — from the reception to housekeeping — was friendly, respectful, and ready to help. I especially want to thank the male receptionist who received me for going the extra mile to make me feel at home. (I have his photo)

Dining: The hotel has a variety of restaurants, and I was impressed! I had dinner at Mario e Mario, their Italian rooftop restaurant — the lasagna was delicious and the view was beautiful. Breakfast was also great, with plenty of options and fresh baked bread.

Facilities: The gym and pool were clean and relaxing. I also appreciated the tight security measures in place, which made me feel very safe throughout my stay.

I travel frequently and stay in hotels all over the world, but my recent stay at Millennium Place in Doha was by far one of the most disappointing experiences I have had.||I chose this property based on its outstanding online rating (9.6) and glowing reviews, which made it seem like an excellent choice. Unfortunately, the reality was very different.||First Impressions & Location|The disappointment began upon arrival. The surrounding neighborhood is dominated by heavy construction, making it unpleasant and difficult to walk around. This was not reflected in the hotel’s promotional photos or description.||Room Quality|I was first given a room on the first floor. It was below average in every respect — far from the “modern and glamorous” look in the photos. The window view was of an abandoned space enclosed by large, dirty walls covered in bird droppings.||When I requested to change rooms, the staff showed me a smaller room on the sixth floor, which was no better. At this point, I contacted Expedia to express my dissatisfaction, as I had relied heavily on the reviews and felt misled.||Facilities|The basement spa and swimming pool were poorly maintained. To access the pool, I had to go through a locker room with wet floors and a bad odor. Exceptional Experience at Millennium Place Hotel, Qatar

From the moment we arrived at Millennium Place Hotel, we were blown away by the service, comfort, and luxury this property offers. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and come with top-tier amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable.

What truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to hospitality. It felt more like being welcomed into a home than just checking into a hotel.

The hotel boasts three excellent restaurants, and we especially fell in love with the Italian restaurant on the rooftop. Not only was the food exquisite, but dining with a panoramic view of the city skyline made it a memorable experience.

For relaxation, the hotel offers two pools, a sauna, and a full-service spa. Our favorite was definitely the open rooftop pool, where we spent our afternoons soaking in the sun and enjoying the stunning views over Doha.
