I popped into Khamira as this quaint restaurant has only been opened for about six months or so. It has beautiful, fresh ambience - it has an airy, open yet cosy feel with natural fabrics, pops of yellow and large windows to view the yachts and boats of Porto Arabia. It has excellent air-conditioning and ample outdoor seating for the Winter season. The service is friendly, professional, respectful and timely. I only had a karak and sparkling water, but will come back for a proper breakfast as the menu looks great from what I saw on other people's tables (see menu in photos section). It is good for a family breakfast or lunch, or just a quick bite to eat. They bake fresh Arabic bread on site and it is 'farm to table' thus mostly local produce. Read moreDelicious breakfast! There were two of us, and we ordered the "Khamira Breakfast for One" which includes plenty of bread, six dips, an egg (cooked to your liking) and a small plate with fresh cucumber, tomato and radish. The atmosphere is very nice and quiet, well-decorated with a great view of the marina, and the staff are kind and attentive. It’s also easy to order and pay via a QR code at your table.
We highly recommend the manakesh...

On top of that, the service was terrible. The wait was excessively long, and the staff seemed uninterested in responding to requests. They even forgot some of our orders, which made the experience even more frustrating.
Overall, this place is overrated and not worth the hype. There are far better options with better food and service. Wouldn’t...
