Restaurant Central — Restaurant in Doha

I’m an English guy, marrying an Indonesian and so was introduced to Restaurant Central by her. The food is full of flavour and you have a choice of freshly cooked or canteen style, traditional Indonesian dishes. Either way I’ve never been disappointed, to the extent that when my partner is out of Doha, I still visit. The decor and ambience are basic but you get what you pay for, however the staff and food make up for this in abundance. If I want a posh restaurant I’ll go to one!! The price of the food is incredibly reasonable and if a restaurant is judged on anything it should be how busy it is and the kind of clientele it attracts. If you seek a place with a cozy cool dining atmosphere, then perhaps this place might not be up to ur expectation. But if you want an authentic original crisp indonesia food , the one which Indonesian has day to day from their kitchen, then this is the perfect spot you are looking for!!! It is a "warteg" style in Doha. Not all ala carte menu are available at lunchtime, like sate (only for dinner), but beef-rib soup and some others are available.
