Tawq Alyasmin Restaurant — Restaurant in Doha

Disappointing It was a very bad experience, the purpose of our visit to the restaurant was to enjoy and eat good food but the restaurant was not as we expected, we waited over the hour and our order was not served only the appetizers and it were not exactly as we chooses, and other customers got their order even though they arrived after us. At first, when we arrived at the restaurant, we needed 15 min for one of the waiters to notice us or respond to us to bring us the menu, then we waited a long time for someone to get our order, then we waited for a long time to get the appetizers, then we waited for a long time for the main course, but didn’t get it at the end, the manager was talking and laughing I tried so hard to get his attention to get our order. Our table was at the front, though we were completely ignored and had to leave the table and go to the staff to serve us, then we spoke with the manager and there was no attempt to apologize or ever satisfy us as customers and he said they were busy! Knowing that almost half of the tables were empty, and they said that there was a dish not available, but they were bringing other customers from this dish, and in the end we did not receive the order and left the restaurant and wast a long time for nothing. There are two families who left the restaurant for almost the same reason and I do not think that the restaurant management noticed that. Our nationality is different than most of the rest customers, and I hope that this was not the reason for such a treatment...

Very bad experience... Think twice before going there.. Booked a table for me and my wife two days in advance, when I arrived there I was told no table, then they managed to squeeze a small table for us away from everything between two other tables. Also there was no consideration for families.. And I noticed them booking table for single men next to table with families and a ladies,, a husband and his wife nearly had a fight with one guy sitting next to them.. Because he kept staring at the man's wife. Then waited for more than 45 minutes for the waiter to arrive, food was okay but not great,, The restaurant was fully booked, over packed because there was live music and ordinary singer,, Oopsit to us a table with more than 10 teenagers,, smoking and talking loudly and making noise to entrtiane themselves.. And kept stairing at others.. Already informed the manager, but I think over all they care about quantity not quality... Over all experience poor customer satisfaction and I will not...

I’m Syrian and would need to tell you that this restaurant has nothing to do with Syrian or lebanese taste. We ordered dinner couple of weeks ago, the hummus is so dry that it’s hard to eat, the mixed grills were so dry and old like they have been pre-cooked and heated, and the vine leaves (warak enab) is a complete disaster like i couldn’t finish the only bite i had, so qar475 was a complete waste, i had friends over that dinner so i was also very much embarrassed, that night when i complained to the management they apologized and offered me to redeem that amount as grocery from their supermarket but it is located one hour away from my house so i said no thank you i prefer a refund, and until now when I contact them to ask about the refund they make excuses and then i’m getting no answer. It’s really shameful to call this Syrian food and Syrian place cos we are not like that at all, i don’t care about the money anymore, it’s gone, but the scam and the way i was treated not...
