I've heard quite alot about this place as its known for being a theatre style based restaurant which focuses on making a customers' experience extraordinary.
As the TGI Friday branches in the UK are not halal, I had the opportunity to visit one of the branches in Doha during my trip on the 8th of March which was not even close to being a decent experience.
The issues began when we were served our food. Despite making it very clear to the waiter that I wanted a chicken burger, he wrote down the order wrong which resulted me having a chicken wrap.
Despite this irritating mistake which caused a major delay, we still gave them the opportunity to rectify this issue.
After sometime the waiter managed to bring the right item which was originally a chicken burger meal.
However, the portion provided was truly pathetic as only a small handful of fries were given.
We politely requested the waiter to provide extra fries which was reluctantly handed to us in a small side plate containing only a few extra chips.
This makes me ponder upon the company's false ethos which involves making every customers' experience special.
I eventually complained to one of the staff members who seemed to be either the manager or supervisor at the time. The lady who I spoke to was not courteous or professional at all as she simply claimed the mistakes made were minor issues whilst providing no proper apology for the poor experience I endured.
Its evidently clear that this lack of professionalism from the management has led to incompetent staff causing hindrance to the company's ability to stay true to their ethos by providing all their customers with a...
Read moreI recently visited TGI Fridays and had a great dining experience overall. As always, their American-style menu did not disappoint. We ordered the Chicken & Shrimp Fettuccine Pasta, which was absolutely delicious, and the Fridays Ultimate Signature Glaze Burger, which was excellent. The fries and sauce that came with it were a highlight—perfectly seasoned and super satisfying. For drinks, the Oreo Cookies & Cream Milkshake was a hit—rich, creamy, and perfectly made. The Double Berry Mojito Shake, however, was disappointing as it was mostly filled with ice cubes and lacked flavor. The Tropical Runner Smoothie was average, nothing special. Service was truly exceptional.
Our server, Wissam( if im not mistaken his name), was extremely friendly and generous—his attention to detail really made our experience even better. The staff overall were welcoming and professional. The ambience was clean, cozy, and relaxing—I really enjoyed the vibe.
Pricing was worth it, especially since we used the Samsung Entertainer app, which gave us a great deal on the main courses.
I’d definitely love to visit again, but I do hope they update their menu soon. It would be nice to have more variety, as we tend to go for the same few...
Read moreMy recent visit to your Al Sad branch was, unfortunately, a truly disappointing experience from start to finish. I'm usually pretty understanding, but the combination of poor service and subpar food quality made for a meal I'd rather forget. The service was incredibly slow and inattentive. It took a long time for a server to even acknowledge us, and once they did, our drinks and appetizers arrived at different times. The server seemed uninterested and was hard to flag down for refills or to ask any questions. As for the food, it was equally unimpressive. The dish I ordered was uncooked although i requested to be very well done. My dining companion's meal wasn't much better. It was clear that little care was taken in the kitchen. Given the high prices on the menu, I expected a certain level of quality, both in terms of the food and the overall dining experience. It's a shame because the restaurant has a nice ambiance, but it's not enough to make up for the terrible service and disappointing food. I won't...
