I don't even know where to start. Went there with my friend because she recommended it and I must say that I had high hopes for the place. Everyone in Bucharest raves about it so I said ok , I knew that the food would not be authentic but I said it's ok at least it's going to be good. Got my food quite fast and had a tase. The verdict: nothing to do with turkish kebab just a lot of very cold, very greasy meat. It tasted strange for what was supposed to be a beef iskender kebab so I took it back to the counter. Surprise surprise, they told me that well miss this is not beef it's beef and lamb meat, specifically 20% lamb. I was furious because they specifically advertised on the menu that they have mixed meat, beef or chicken so I told them that they were supposed to tell me before ordering. They decided to refund the money at which point some of the female staff members were very very angry saying that well she ate part of the meal and she returned it after . I am still wondering if this behaviour is normal, I thought that one is supposed to taste the food before deciding if it's good or not. I moved on to the counter in order to get my refund money so I got in line because I didn't see that one cashier was free (I was not feeling well after my meat tasting experience, I felt stick to my stomach, thought I was going to vomit) at which point the free cashier started shouting: here take your money, and whispered underneath her breath : well don't just stand there half an hour. Very but very rude female staff. I do appreciate that they were prompt in refunding my money but the food was horrendous and some of the staff members a nightmare. Food tastes romanian, nothing to do with authentic kebab and way too expensive for this low quality romanian food . Not recommended .if you are looking for a good place to eat authentic turkish kebab this is not an option. Chicken wraps are good though but nothing special just how you'd expect your wrap to taste if you had your meat seasoned with middle eastern spices. Update: went back there for a chicken wrap and another surprise waited for me : at some point during the meal two guys came and sat at a nearby table and one of them started shouting that oh this girl is eating too much it makes me sick. He kept saying that he wants to vomit all through his meal which was disgusting. Needless to say that they have no security staff inside so there's nobody to help with bullies . So you go there to eat and get a free bullying session only because someone doesn't like seeing people eating or thinks that you're eating more than you should. After this I am surely not going to go back there. Definitely the most disgusting...
Read moreCame here for lunch, on a Thursday, around 14.00 hrs, place was not too crowded. The service was slow-ish, about 7 minutes for 2 dishes, even tho we were 3 people in line. I was served by a tall, slim asian lad, nice and polite, very good knowledge of romanian language, not wearing gloves while assembling the shawormas tho, but that was just me being unlucky, most of his coleagueas were wearing them. The food was ok, no complaints on that side, but absolutelly no acolades, either. I had food here before, and from "wow" factor slowly moved to "meh" factor. Prices are average, I guess, not cheap, but they are displayed, so it was an educated choice. One unpleasant thing, while we were eating, a female beggar came in and start doing her thing. Even if two members of the cleaning staff were present on the terrace, none of them tried to do anything about it. Conclusion: not horrible, not great,...
