Harbin — Restaurant in Bucharest

Great food, lovely service and very reasonable waiting time. I had been here 2-3 years prior and the pineapple desert marked me - I decided to come again based almost purely on it! I was pleasantly surprised with the food too, the beef is one of the best I've had in any asian cuisine restaurant, it just melts in your mouth - I remembered there was good food here from my first visit but it was the desert that truly left an impression , now it is accompanied by the beef. The portions are generous, for the quality especially and the quantity I would definitely say it's fairly priced, their menu is quite varied so you'll surely find something for you. I would definitely recommend you try out a proper chinese restaurant instead of fast food, and in Bucharest, Harbin is definitely at the top...

The restaurant has a terrace, which is a bit ugly and it doesn't give you a very good first impression, but the inside of the restaurant is nice. As for the food, i must say i am not impressed. It's good, but not great, definitely not the best in Bucharest, but if you live nearby, it's worth trying. I don't know what to say about the prices - they seemed normal in comparison to other chinese restaurants - the portions are normal, so that is ok. This place gets 4+ stars just for the food. This is one of the best places where you can find authentic Chinese food in Bucharest. The "standard" hot and sour soup, Young Zhou rice and vegetable noodles are good dishes you can enjoy in a generous serving size. Sadly, the restaurant positioning and atmosphere are not the best and the service is just average. Another minus are the prices that are about 20% higher than expected from such kind of place.
