I recently visited Haveli Pakistani/ Indian restaurant and had a wonderful dining experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and excellent service.
For starters, I ordered the vegetable samosa which was crispy on the outside and filled with deliciously spiced vegetables on the inside. I then moved on to the chicken biryani, which was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The chicken tikka masala was also a hit, and the cheese naan was a spicy and delightful accompaniment to my meal.
One thing I appreciated was that the chicken used in the dishes was halal, which is important to me. However, I was disappointed to find out that the lamb meat is not halal, which prevented me from trying some of the lamb-based dishes on the menu.
To finish off my meal, I ordered a fresh orange juice which was refreshing and a perfect end to a delightful meal.
Overall, I highly recommend Haveli Pakistani/ Indian restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Pakistani/ Indian cuisine in a cozy and welcoming environment. The only downside is the limited options for those who only eat halal meat, but there are still plenty of delicious dishes to...

If we had one issue: not spicy enough. We asked for level 4 (of 5) but it was hardly spicy. We spent 9 months in India, and we like the spicy 🥵 😁. However, we realize most Romanians aren’t used to spicy Asian food.
💫Veg ‘biryani’ was great. It was loaded with vegetables and seasonings, though not the traditional ‘biryani’ style (long) rice.
💫Daal makhani was perfect 🙌- nice and thick.
💫Vegetables kadai dish was perfect 🙌- seriously. (We just wished more spicy …)
💫Mint parantha was different from the usual take, with dried mint flakes that were a tad messy. 😁
💫My after-dinner masala tea was perfect. 🙌
Husband brought beer in to have with his meal.
Prices are mostly reasonable for Bucharest, though shocking for us because we had recently been in India, where everything is much less expensive.
We are world travelers and this restaurant is as authentic as any we’ve experienced outside that part of the world.
Quite simply, we say: go! And enjoy...
Read moreAlright, I am from India and staying in Romania. I was searching for some good Indian restaurant so that I can order food as I was craving for some. For obvious reasons (covid-19) I cannot go for dine in so i planned to order it home. I found this restaurant which has more than 4 star rating (i don't know how they got it). I ordered lamb korma, mattar mushroom and butter chicken. Let's start with lamb korma, I am 35 yrs old and have never had sweet lamb korma. Second dish which I tasted was mattar mushroom and bingo it was again sweet, who make in Pakistan or in India make lamb korma or mattar mushroom SWEET. I wasted my all the money by ordering from this restaurant. People if you want to save your money PLEASE do NOT order from this restaurant. This is not at all the real taste of India or Pakistan. If there would be an option of giving lesser star than 1 I would have given that. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the food. The Chef of this restaurant don't know the taste of Indian or Pakistani food. Be careful guys.. Indian or Pakistani food never tastes...
