D'arc — Restaurant in Timișoara

We visited this place for New Year's, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. First, they refused to accept a reservation via message and insisted on a phone call, despite us explaining that we’re not from Romania and would prefer to handle it via text. The entrance fee was 20 euros per person, which seemed excessive for such a mediocre club. The most disappointing part, however, was the music. It was incredibly bad for a New Year's Eve party—slow, boring, and completely out of sync with the energy you'd expect for a celebration. It could have been a great party, but instead, it was dull and lifeless.

On a positive note d the drinks were good and there were a lot of different options. The staff who took our jackets were also polite and didn't judge when we went to retrieve them to step outside for the fireworks or a smoke. However, the overall atmosphere was negatively impacted by the poor music selection.

Lastly, the bathrooms were unacceptable. You could see through the stalls, which is both uncomfortable and inappropriate. It's definitely something that needs serious attention.

We bought entry tickets for New Year's Eve and when arriving we were told that there is not enough space in the cloakroom for our winter coats and jackets and that we should take them with us inside and keep an eye on them while dancing or that we should put them on chairs if we find any, we saw many guests that just put their clothes on the club's floor, near the walls and everyone was stepping on them because the club was too crowded. Even tough we bought entry tickets, after 12.30 o'clock they allowed free access for anyone, which seems to be unfair . I could say that there was a huge disrespect and disregard on consumer needs from the management and from the security staff. The music was ok but the sounds quality was below average.
