Vino I Voda — Restaurant in Литейный округ

Something between 3 and 4 without any common sense at all. Recently visited the high-floor terrace of this restaurant with my girlfriend. Tables inside and outside; decided to stay inside - was quite a chilly already. Advantages: Ok, well, the glass box looks cool; the view is gorgeous: Neva river, Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac’s, Kazan Cathedral, Admiralty. Looks very good at night. Telescope available. Staff is pretty good as well - polite, gentle, ready to assist, able to recommend. Very good wine - accidentally we ordered the wrong bottle(twice as expensive) but never regret; first of all, it’s my mistake, the other thing is - it was good. Disadvantages: Let’s start with interior features and furniture. All looks pretty good until you try it or spend couple of minutes inside. Chair are low for tables, tables are high for chair - works both way regardless how tall you are(I’m not). You are somewhere middle of sitting and lying, which is pretty common nowadays, but “uncertain” and, as a result, uncomfortable in this specific restaurant(at least on the terrace). From this angle furniture feels cheap and poor quality, even if it’s not; it’s disposal - stupid and comfortless. The second thing is waiting time. We ordered wine, main course, and wanted to add some starters to snack with wine while we wait, but the waiter told us it all will be the same time because of the great number of orders. Well, it’s good he warned us, but the situation wasn’t satisfying nevertheless. The restaurant looks and poses itself as a premium one, but this kind of situating acceptable for cantine only. I presume one of the reasons is - kitchen itself located on the 2nd floor(terrace is on the 7th) and waiters can not provide anything fast regardless of how long does it take to cook it. We hoped at least to drink some wine before main course will be delivered, but or bottle been delayed as well, and, I suspect, for the same reason. So everything was delivered nearly the same time, which is disappointing, to be honest, but even more disappointing fact was about what was delivered. My girlfriend ordered scallops, which looked like simple wok, tasted pretty average as well(my girlfriend even told it’s very poor at first, but after full glass of wine changed her mind to average; let’s hope she just tried it better and it wasn’t some “wine-effect”). My deer meat looked quite an “exotic”, but tasted better. And this dishes do have the highest price point in the menu of terrace. Taking into account all this factors I must tell, we are disappointed. The place is stylish, fashionable, but comfortless and unpractical. Staff is good, but food is poor(not really poor - average, but doesn’t follow any expectation by this price point). The conclusion is - the place to go on summer time to have nice drink with view. Expect fancy...

It took a very very long time to get it food, absolutely not synchronized. Mine was a fish and chips just as greasy as what Captain D would serve. My wife that chicken so salty she didn't eat it! 2 if the soup we ordered were inverted and we only realized after a few spoons. Beer was good and lite. They offered tea as an apology for the incredible delay but we were not interested! Loud music prevented to hear any conversation unless screamed! The ultimate insult was a 500 rubbles error in the bill! Nice view and really plenty of time...

У ресторана есть две локации: в холодные времена - атриум, в теплое - терасса на крыше. Мы сидели в атриуме сегодня. Очень светлое, спокойное место. Я была в отеле пару раз, когда ходила на лекции профессора Жаринова моего любимого. И уже тогда отметила спокойствие, размеренность, неспешность этого места. Ты туда попадаешь, и как будто время замерло. Остановись, и просто насладись моментом! 💫- призывает оно тебя.

Сегодня я уже специально пришла в ресторан, и атмосфера та же самая - спокойствие, неспешность, нега.... По кухне: Креветки🍤 🍤 🍤 в панировке с соусом манго-мисо (935). Нейтрально, не произвели впечатление. Просто было - просто съела. 4 Лосось с молодыми кабачками и апельсиновым соусом (1650) - это уже поинтереснее, и намного. Было Вкусно! Я люблю сочетание апельсина с некоторыми продуктами, и с рыбой здесь магия произошла! Вкусные кабачки, вкусная рыба, прекрасный дополняющий блюдо, апельсиновый соус! 5. Конфеты домашнего приготовления (143 за штуку). Я брала белый шоколад с маракуйей в кокосе и чёрный шоколад с чаем Эрл грей в какао (это вкус такой 😉). Ммм, приложенные к заказанному чаю мини-печеньки были вкуснее. Не оценила.3 Чай Ginger Breeze, Индия. Травяной купаж с цитрусовой цедрой, лимонником, имбирем и перцем, в традициях Аюрведы. Чай хорош, люблю чай!!!🍵 5 Оформление блюд - внешне - для меня стандартно, без оригинальности.

Резюме: Атмосфера: 5 Обслуживание: 4 Интерьер: 5 Кухня:воздержусь, т.к блюд было заказано мало. Цены: выше среднего

Пришла бы еще? Да, терасса не изведана, и кухня не...
