YURA Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Tverskoy District

I have visited this restaurant twice. I loved the view from terrace on th 10th floor. So I took my wife and friends for couple cocktails and dessert. I had no problems with cocktails and dessert, except I learned the place was quite expensive. Anyway, next day I decided to try kitchen and went to the same place for early dinner. It was awful. I mean every dish was ruined, portions were extremely small, presentation did not existed... I left with my family and friends and had to go another restaurant and eat full dinner again. I don’t mind to pay extra for good dinner but it also creates expectations of quality. I have to admit the waiting stuff was very friendly and tried to be helpful, but it would not help to offset kitchen screw ups...

P.S. As I mentioned above, the waiting stuff was very good and I would hate if blame would go to them. I visited Open Veranda on June 26th around 10:30pm for few cocktails. Then I decided to come for early dinner on 27th of June and had initial dinner at open veranda and then our party of 6 went down to 2nd floor main restaurant to have few more drinks and also we ordered again main courses as well few appetizers... it sounds weird but it happened... it left some mixed emotions and this is why I decided to let you and others know my...

Nice interior, food isn’t exceptional Key idea of the restaurant is using fresh farm ingredients for dishes. The restaurant follows its strategy - dishes are made from good quality ingredients. Great place with great food. No matter if you stay in hotel or you go to the restaurant intentionally. Food is good, service is supposed to be perfect so waiter was too afraid to reply to my questions about recommendation ("Taste is personal choice"). In other words service was cold. We've ordered baked Jerusalem artichoke cream soup and it was fantastic, as well as...
